“The best would be if live animal transports were not carried out at all, or if the animals are only transported to a place in the nearest vicinity. Therefore the 8hours campaign is the minimum and a very generous compromise! No animal should be transported for more than 8 hours through Europe. After all these years it is a shame that this is not yet the moral and ethical requirement in every Member State!”

"Lebendtiertransporte sollten am besten gar nicht mehr stattfinden, oder nur, wenn die Tiere an einen Ort in kürzester Nähe transportiert werden. Deshalb ist die Kampagne "8hours" das Minimum und ein sehr großzügiger Kompromiss! Kein Tier soll länger als 8 Stunden durch Europa transportiert werden. Nach all den Jahren ist es eine Schande, dass dies noch nicht in jedem Mitgliedsstaat selbstverständlicher moralischer und ethischer Anspruch ist!"
